About
GEvTerm

The goal of GEvTerm is to resolve linguistic frustrations around the globe. GEvTerm’s approach to dealing with linguistic frustrations is to build a large computerized language database that people can contribute to, benefit from, and access worldwide through any internet connected device.

GEvTerm includes a variety of projects all designed to help resolve linguistic frustrations. At this time, we are focusing on two projects. The ELC English Language Help Center allows students studying English as a second language at the BYU English Language Center to submit their linguistic frustrations for review and assistance. The aim of the GEvTerm Foods project is to develop the world’s largest multilingual food name database.
